Nero let his eyes glide across the strippers, his beer slowly sweating in the warmth of the seedy bar. The extra creds in his pocket felt heavy… an illusion but one he was comfortable with. He was out for an afternoon’s delight with a stripper. Now came the difficult selection process.

This was his favorite bar. The Casbah. As sleazy strip clubs went, it was a good one. Which meant it was as clean as it could be given the drug habits of the strippers who worked there. Some were outright hooking, but management tended to turn a blind eye… so long as they got their cut if the slitch was stupid enough to bring a John inside for a beer or a dance… or more in the VIP. The strippers were not the best looking bunch as a whole. A few naturally beautiful women floated through from time to time, but they never stayed long. Most were only average looking. My life has turned out to be better than I could have possibly imagined. Well to tell you the truth, my life really started improving for the better about four months ago.

“It’s almost time for them to make the announcement!” I said to Rosalind over the phone as I turned to my computer. “Yeah, yeah I know Desiree. I hope that you know the chances of one of us winning are very, very slim” she replied. Our conversations jumped from subject to subject while watching a live feed broadcast on WWE. The WWE was having a contest where you could win a dinner date with your favorite wrestler. We both entered the contest for the sheer fun of it. “You know they’re going to pick someone else. I’d guess that our odds are one in a million or more”, said Rosalind. “Shhhh, they’re about to say who the winner is,” I said interrupting her. “Good afternoon everyone. I’m Michael Cole coming to you live from the WWE headquarters in Connecticut. We’d like to start off by thanking the numerous fans worldwide that entered the “Dinner with a WWE Superstar” contest. We know that there are a lot of fans that would love to be chosen, but we can have only one winner. And now without further ado, the winner of our “Dinner with a WWE Superstar” is………Desiree Johnson from Detroit, Michigan!!! Congratulations Desiree! Lost Souls

I was the owner of the latest in spot in New York. I was playing hostess that for my new Restaurant called Lost Souls, it was located right in the middle of Chelsea and there was a line around the corner for everyone who wanted to get in. I needed something new to do with my life, so I opened a new restaurant with club downstairs. The place was rather large; there was a main floor and then the upper floor where we would seat celebrities and socialites and then the club located on the bottom floor that got crowded as the night moved on. My Evening with Harris Faulkner

I am a 40 year old male from Colorado on business in New York City. I just finished the business for the day and was headed to grab something to eat. It was raining quite hard so I hailed down a taxi and was getting into the back seat when I noticed a tall beautiful black woman getting into the other side! I didn’t recognize her at first. Invid Invasion Ch. 07

“A short note: Wow, bribing you guys with those deleted pages worked out great! Thank you all for so much wonderful feedback and by all means, don’t feel like you have to stop now! I may not have more bribes to hand out but I still love to hear what ya’ll thought of the various chapters. Additionally I discovered that to my horror that I hadn’t run so much as a spell check on those pages before I sent them off to a bunch of you. I apologize for that and for what it’s worth, they’re fixed now.

I would also like to apologize that the chapters have been coming out so infrequently of late. The reason is two-fold. The first and most obvious reason is simply time. I’m putting together a film, working full time and writing at least 4 hours a day on my various projects. Unfortunately 4 hours a day isn’t much when your various projects extend to 10 or more. The second reason is as I’ve said before. Feedback. I got a lot for chapter 6 but since I am not getting paid to write this, it would be awesome to get the occasional (or semi-regular) message that says someone is reading this and maybe even that someone is liking this. Don’t be afraid to criticize either. As should be the case with every writer, I can use all the help I can get. Now, not to worry. I have no plans of stopping to write this. I will probably be writing this story for years to come. But, the frequency of the updates really are directly proportionate to feedback. And right now I’m not getting much. Anyway, that’s it for this authors note. Hopefully it doesn’t sound like I’m being facetious here. I just wanted everyone to realize how much the little note that says “cool story” means to a writer.
