Support Groups of Gor

” This story is a sequel to “Hitchhikers of Gor” and will probably make a little more sense if you read that story first, although I have tried to write it to function as a stand alone story. It is a satire of John Norman”s Gor novels, so it might be somewhat more accessible if you’ve read one of them, but I would hope the story could be enjoyed without this prerequisite. Read the foreword to “Hitchhikers of Gor” for the basics of what Gor is all about.”

This was more like it. I had a job. I was the bartender at the Earth Weenie Social Club. It was sort of a private paga tavern–members only. The membership consisted exclusively of immigrants from Earth. I was both member and employee. I didn”t get paid all that much, but the job came with room and board. I still didn”t have a slave girl of my own at the moment, but I didn”t really need one. One of the perks of the job was that I was in charge of the club”s slave girls. There were about a dozen of them and maybe two thirds were Earth immigrants, although their immigration had not been voluntary. Sunset In Dereth

The sun dips low on the horizon. I sit alone, as usual, and feel hypnotized by the vast array of colors illuminating the darkening sky. A true plethora of color, the sky shimmers with soft shades that change as the sun dips lower. Red to yellow. Pink to purple. Violet to blue. Finally disappearing with a glaring orange and settling into night. The coolness of the evening air invigorates me, I feel life pulsing through my veins.

A solitary being, I am accustomed to being alone, but there are still times I feel suffocated by the barren isolation that engulfs my soul. I am a warrior, though a young one. I am unattached to even myself and wander listlessly through this life. I came to reside in this magical world of Dereth, but a short while ago. Spiked Ch. 01-05

Willow wrapped her arms around herself as she patrolled the streets of Sunnydale. She still couldn’t help feeling as if she’d stumbled into one of her nightmares and had never been able to wake up. This was real though. . .and that was the real nightmare. Buffy was dead. It was as simple as that. One week ago, Buffy Anne Summers had died saving the world.

Rationally, Willow knew that this day would come, but she’d always hoped that Buffy would have more time. But that wasn’t to be. And everything was happening so fast. Shady and the Lady

The business trip to Detroit was last minute and I was just throwing things into my suitcase to get ready to leave. “This shit sucks” I mumbled to myself thinking that my whole weekend was in the toilet now. Having to fly to Michigan to straighten out the books for some dumb ass company that didn’t know the General Accounting Principles from a hole in the ground was not my idea of fun.
