Peter Steele, sounds like a porn star’s name, I thought giggling to myself. I’m alone in the darkness of a forgotten alley waiting. The next thing I remember was faintly hearing the TV being switched off by someone and the lights in the main room of the bus being switched off. I propped myself up on one arm and took a quick glance around the room, noticing that there seemed to be light from something coming from the dining area behind me and the smell of cigarette smoke filling the room. Starla Sees Stars

Sometime after Jacqueline’s victory over Sable to win the re-activated Women’s Title, the WWF were bringing in every capable woman wrestler on the independent scene to face Jacqueline in squash matches. One of these women was Nora Greenwald, and at the time she was better known as Starla Sexton. Unfortunately for Starla, she was just the latest victim for Jacqueline in a match that aired on Sunday Night Heat.

After the match, Starla makes her way to the back and is fuming quietly. Starla balls her fists and puffs her cheeks as she tries to deal with the way she had to lose the match to the reigning women’s champion. “You’re not… um… yeah, I think you are…” I stammered to find the right words to say as I pushed my long, dark hair behind my ear. The letter was already in his hands so that plan was already shot to hell.

“I’m not what?” he laughed as he sat up from the bench, “Yeah, I’m Taylor. Crazy out there, huh?”

Slowly he got up from the bench and sauntered over to stand beside Christene and I who were awestruck that he was standing right in front of us. His beautiful dark hazel eyes were shining in the fluorescent lights that illuminated the room. I stood there watching, slowly watching, in fact, almost anticipating what Taylor might do next. It was cold outside; much colder than it had been the past few times I had stood for hours outside just hoping to meet him. I wondered what the rest of the fans that were shivering all around me were thinking. I wondered if they too thought there might be something special when they had first saw him or if they were just there for autographs and pictures so they could brag that they had met him later to their friends. Most of the people in the crowd were either ten to fifteen year old girls who knew him from “that show” on television, women my age hoping to get him into bed or marry him… whichever came first, or women in their mid-fifties or early sixties whose maternal instincts took over when they saw the sweet man in their living rooms every Tuesday night. Then, of course, there were the fans like me. The ones who loved everything about Taylor Hicks; His sweetness, his humor, his humbleness, but most of all, the music and happiness he had brought to each of us. Christene and I were those fans, the ones that wouldn’t turn and run at the first sight or mention of him doing something odd or different or straying from the person he was on the show. (more…)

Spring Break was around the corner and the topic was where to go. They could go to Cancun, Mexico, Daytona Beach, Florida or somewhere nearby. Either way the eight of them were going to have some kind of fun.

Angel was in his dorm room when someone entered. When he lifted his head he spotted the blonde haired man.

Epilogue

Things between Buffy and Angel have never been better. Since the night of his birthday and the day after waking up in her arms, he knew she was the one. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with this girl, this beautiful woman, and his lover.

The day was sunny, clear blue sky and the birds were chirping. Angel was walking towards the platform to pick up his diploma. As he shaked hands with the principal, he looked towards the crowd and spotted Buffy and as their eyes locked from afar he smiled at her. She smiled right back. (more…)
