She sat with her head leaning against the cold glass of the window. It was raining. Soft pellets of liquid release rolled downward, downward, and out of sight. Normally, this would be relaxing weather for her: she would put on her favorite leopard-print fuzzy slippers, cuddle underneath her favorite red flannel blanket, and stare at her favorite collection of Van Gogh’s artwork. Yes. Rainy days meant staring at sunflower fields with the dissonant sounds of Channel 12 in the background.

But no. Not today. Today as nature poured her wrath down onto the suburbs, Julia was curled up- not comfortably, but contently- in the passenger seat of her boyfriend’s ratty old Impala. The Impala that he swore he would restore “one day”; yet it had been four years and that “one day” had yet to materialize. Either way. Sierra’s Not Alone Ch. 01

Sierra looked around, marveling in the beauty of nature. There were so many stars out, and the first light was starting to creep into the sky. Turning around, she retreated back to her cave, deciding she should head to bed soon. She had been in the wilderness for about 4 years now, ever since she discovered what a freak she was. When she turned 12, she discovered that she was a mutant. She couldn’t stand the way people had stared at her, they way they gawked. Being empathic, feeling why they were gawking made it worse. After having her powers only 3 months, she had to leave. She hadn’t dared venture back into civilization, because of her mutation. She had wings, and it was hard not to draw attention to the big blue bat wings sticking from behind her back. Plus, her skin gradually took on a blue hue, getting darker until it was midnight blue. She also had the ability to hide her scent, she had discovered, when shortly after she had run away, searcher had followed her with dogs. She had willed her scent to disappear, and she hid in the trees of the northern California woods. Her wings weren’t quite grown then, so she couldn’t fly. Marilyn Manson doesn’t like to fake it. At least, he doesn’t like to fake drug use, abuse, and sex when it comes to his music videos. Manson prefers that everything be completely real. He also prefers that everything be extreme, and so when he decided to turn his song “s(aint)” into a video, he came up with some pretty dirty ideas for it. This is a story about how Marilyn Manson found out that his band member, Tim Skold, was good at a lot of things, not just playing music.

“Okay, here’s the deal…” Manson spoke to a small group of people surrounding him, “I will do what I want, you can do what you want… to a degree, and Asia, you film it all.” As the crowd began to disperse, he spoke up again, “Oh, and by the way, since most of you know me by now, don’t be surprised if you find yourself in my company in a very intimate way… if you don’t want that, leave now.” The crowd exchanged looks and a few of them turned to leave. “Oh my god, oh my god, it’s HIM!” Samantha yelled to Beth. “It’s Ryan Reynolds, god he is so hot ” Beth nodded at Samantha and rolled her eyes. She hated large crowds like the one they were stuck in the middle of to see some actor, but Samantha didn’t care. Her lust of the moment was Ryan Reynolds.

“Why are you so excited, who is Ryan Reynolds?” Beth asked. “Wasn’t he on some soap opera?” Sam shot her a glance that nearly seared through her flesh.

The first day I met the others at the starting point. There were just six of us and we came from all over the country.

Abstract:

Systemic infection with human retrovirus 666, produced by directed evolution of the herpes simplex virus (HSV-2) has been shown, in previous studies at this facility, to suppress the symptoms of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, by directly deactivating the sticky mutant proteins implicated in the disorder. Preliminary experiments conducted following suggestions by T. Lindermann, RN, suggest that a combined administration of the fertility drug Gamuron (3-[2-methoxy-5- (4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)sulfonyl-phenyl] -7-methyl-9-propyl-2, 4,7,8-tetrazabicyclo [4.3.0]nona-3,8,10-trien-5-one; 2-hydroxypropane-1,2-bicarboxylic acid) and the introduction of viral RNA from human retrovirus 666 into the test subjects’ somatic cells results not only in a decrease in motor neuron degeneration, but a novel type of cell growth that has not previously been observed by the medical community. Side effects in rats include increased sexual potency, stamina and increased sperm production, which are attributable to the clinically useful effects of the designer drug Gamuron in infertility treatment. Results of this study indicate that human research ought to be pursued given the availability of human test subjects. (more…)
