June Calendar Shoot

“NOTE: For those of you who have not been following this series, it’s about 24 main characters that are all news anchors. They are doing video shoots and using select pictures in the shoot for two calendars. One calendar is of single and married anchors. The second calendar is of MILFS. Josh Groban: L’Amore

It’s the present time and date, HOWEVER way back in high school - instead of being an ass and not following my dreams and aspirations I went to Columbia College here in Chicago and became a radio broadcaster and then moved to L.A. maybe 10 years later because I was offered a job. Now I have my own morning radio show AND I’ve written a few books, bestsellers so I have that career too. I’m at a party and I meet Josh. Well he’s absolutely smitten with me as I am him but I don’t let on to him that I am — I’m a fabulous actress, not professionally of course but just holding back on how I feel and he asks me for my phone number and I pretend I didn’t hear but he takes my hand and writes his on my hand in black sharpie. Well of course I run home and write it down but don’t call him — hopefully he’s taking the bait, right? And a week later I’m on my radio morning show and I start talking about him and my co-hort is saying yeah, I heard of that guy, he’s like some opera dude or something and I say no! He’s a good singer and I’m going to play one of his songs and that dude is like, woah, this is a hard rock station you can’t do that and I say WATCH ME and so I play My December. Well the next day Josh comes to the studio and of course they let him in, I’m surprised, needless to say and we have this cute little on-air chat and then when it’s done he asks me out to lunch and so I do that but then when it’s over I say I have to go because I had stuff to do and he asks me out to dinner and I say sure, and just say when and he says how about Friday and I said I can’t, I have a prior engagement (which was a lie) and he says well how about Saturday? And I say I can’t do it that day either but how about this, how about he comes to MY house next week and I’ll make dinner for him and he says YEAH. So I told him to call me but he doesn’t have my number!!!! (more…)

Josh Groban: Forbidden Love Ch. 02

Alex woke up first and lay silent. She was disappointed in herself for having given in to her desires but … she looked over at the handsome, sexy man who slept peacefully next to her … she couldn’t resist him. He had been a complete gentleman for almost a week proving to her that his love reached beyond the physicality and extended into the spiritual essence and after yesterday, having absolutely no inspiration to write she thought it may have been caused by the repression of her true feelings. In any case, he was too sexy to resist any longer and she refused to fight it. If he had lost his desire for her, if his love had faded during the time they were apart it would have killed her. She rolled onto her side and curled up closer to him. Without opening his eyes he slipped his arm around her and pulled her in. She sighed happily. He leaned down and kissed the top of her head. Josh Groban: Forbidden Love

This was supposed to be the happiest day of her life, wasn’t it? Well it certainly had become memorable already and the wedding ceremony hadn’t even started yet, but happy? The jury was still out on that one … Alexandra stood in the women’s bathroom in the lobby of one of the fanciest, most expensive hotels in Las Vegas and stared at her own reflection in the mirror. She was getting married to a wonderful, handsome man not too long from then in the largest banquet halls in the hotel. She was resplendent in her princess bridal gown. Her hair was perfectly coiffed upwards into a pony tail that cascaded down through the diamond encrusted tiara she wore and down to her shoulders then pooled onto her bare back just under her shoulder blades. Her makeup had been applied to perfection; her cheeks rosy, her eyes bright blue and sparkling. She glanced at the clock behind her on the wall; the ceremony was to begin any moment and her handsome pop star husband-to-be would be waiting nervously at the altar … So why was she staring at the reflection of someone who’s heart had just been torn in two instead of waiting for her cue to begin walking up the aisle? The heartbreak started only 10 minutes before when she left the safety of the bride’s room to rush down the hall for a last minute bathroom break when she was greeted by a handsome friend of hers, Josh Groban. G’Day LA had turned from a cross-culture promotion into an international phenomenon. Word had gotten around how much the Aussies loved a good party, and the high and mighty of LA came running. From a small get together of Australian actors and singers to anyone who had anything to do with or could make something up to do with Australians in LA was there.

It was a huge event that had exploded on the LA party scene like a wildfire, as people the world over knew how much the Aussies loved to have a walloping good time. But at least one wasn’t having the best time. Alec stared out over the balcony at the bright lights and drained off the last of his bourbon. (more…)

Invid Invasion Ch. 19

“Author’s note: Thanks again for sticking with me! I’ve got chapter 19 up in decent time and hopefully chapter 20 will be up soon. But I am going overseas for a month so if you don’t see it by mid June, expect to wait at least another month.

Anyway, here’s the deal. I’ve been thinking about how I wanted to end this story over another few chapters and I’d like to share my thoughts (if I did this last chapter, I appologize. I don’t know where I am :). Chapter 21 and 22 (the final two chapters) were to follow more or less the same story but for whatever reason split over two different chapters - probably due to suspected length. Chapter 20 was to be a stand-alone story in the traditional “every five chapters do something special” format. So I thought, why not combine chapters 21 and 22 into one big chapter. No loss of content, it just makes more sense with formatting… And THEN I thought… Chapter 20 (entertaining as it may be) is really just a throw away chapter and it will kill momentum coming into the end of the story, so THEN I thought… why not make chapter 21 and 22 (the now combined chapter 21) into chapter 20 and finish II off with a nice round number. Jacqueline’s New Age Celebration

In the summer of 1998, the ebony wrestling female known as Jacqueline has just made her debut in the World Wrestling Federation as the new love interest for Marc Mero and as a rival for Sable. Jacqueline would go on to defeat Sable for the reactivated Women’s Title on September 15th of that same year.

After her victory over Sable, Jacqueline makes her way back to her and Marc’s dressing room; she passes the reigning WWF Tag Team Champions, the New Age Outlaws. Both men immediately look at the Texas spitfire. Billy licks his lips and elbows Road Dogg. (more…)
