Gale Force Ch. 12

Things got strange after that.

Gale agreed to a slice of quiche and after cleaning the cum out of his under shorts, he joined me in the kitchen. But I felt raw. Sex had been something that I hadn’t had much of and I felt as if I’d told him my greatest secret. I was terrified. I think he sensed my unease as well because he took his slice to go, leaving me satiated but pacing the floor.

The next day, I responded to him as I did to everyone else and the look on his face was one filled with hurt. I knew that I was letting him down but even weeks afterward, I was still having problems reconciling myself with what had happened. He didn’t talk to me when I brought his lunch and I started questioning what I’d done. When it came to Sunday, he backed out of our regular date, saying that he was tired from partying with the cast members the night before. I was doubly hurt. We got back into town on Sunday afternoon, exhausted and in a state of bliss but happy that we were back home. Gale carried my bags into the house and left me at the door with a long, deep kiss. I checked my messages and called Allen, happy that the meals had gone well and promising to meet with him as soon as I was back into the groove. Next, I called Stacy to check on her and thank her for taking care of things while I was gone. She asked about the weekend and I told her that I’d give her the gory details the next day. Saturday’s production was extra tough so I didn’t see Gale all day except for when we served the cast and crew. He came to the table to choose a chicken spinach salad with bacon dressing and gave me a quick glance. I could see that he had a lot on his mind so I gave him a reassuring smile and watched him walk away. Jhonna and I packed up and went home and I awoke early the next morning to make the snow crab quiche and the other items I was going to make for the picnic and Gale arrived right on time. (more…)

The next four weeks brought changes and delays in our relationship, if you could call it that. I never really counted it as a relationship; I think I looked at it as an elongated pity fuck. Gale felt sorry for the black chef who took the time to see him as a human being and not just a celebrity and it was a ’safe’ relationship: no competition. I accepted it as a potential sex relationship, telling myself that it was the best I could do. I should be thankful to have his attention and that I wouldn’t let myself get used … too much. (more…)

Sunday was a day filled with pain for me. The hangover I suffered was only balanced by the memories of the previous night and the fun I had. Dancing the tango with Hal and doing the polka with Sharon were bright highlights in my muddled memory banks as well as sharing a rum and Coke with Gale while Melanie and Jack made a quick alcohol run. He didn’t seem to have the slightest compunction about sharing a drink with me and I ended up having to sit next to him to do so. When the first knock sounded on Gale’s oak portal, I paused in the hallway, checked my hair and make-up, then proceeded to let the first guests in. Even I was amazed that I stopped to check my features. I had always been a tomboy and mascara and foundation were not words in my vocabulary. But on this momentous occasion, I had gone out and bought a pantsuit with a form-fitting top and had stuffed my 36Bs into it, loving the Elizabethan way that my tits perked up. Made me think of the empire waist dresses of the Regency age and for once, I actually thought that I was sexy, something I hadn’t thought of in quite a long time. (more…)

3) Alliances

For weeks the Andromeda felt dead. It was so quiet with Beka and Rev gone, Tyr dead, Rhade was even sure that Harper and Trance were avoiding him, he had never thought it possible before to feel this alone. He had been alone before and it had never bothered him, but now he knew that he should have never got close to the Maru crew, especially their captain – this was the result. He knew deep down that Harper and Trance weren’t avoiding him but working on Harper’s Magog situation, and if anything he felt all the worse for not being able to contribute. But more than anything, he missed Beka. He missed her being around, he missed her on command, he missed her smell and her smile, her witticisms and her scolding, he even missed her slipstream piloting. (more…)

Five Planets: Cunny Honey

“Commence mission log, ESV Prometheus, Captain Elizabeth Daniels commanding. Earthdate September 21st 2271. Earth Command has instructed us to seek out habitable worlds in preparation for the colonization programme that it shortly intends to commence. After some weeks, long range sensors have picked up a small planet that may be suitable, and we are moving in to investigate.”

The Earth Science Vessel Prometheus moved through space, approaching a small blue and green world in a small solar system of four planets. It looked like a miniature version of the Sol system, the first planet closest to the sun being a small, hot world of molten rock and toxic fumes. The second planet, much further out, was the one the Prometheus was most interested in, and it closely resembles Earth, despite the fact that there was little sign of intelligent life. Even further out was a large blue coloured gas world with two sets of rings, each on a different axis. The final planet, so far away from it’s own sun that it was barely noticeable, was a tiny world of ice and rock. It was doubtful that anything could live there, though the ship was too far away for sensors to pick up any signs of life. (more…)

1) Flesh and Blood

Gaheris rubbed his hand over his face as Dylan’s holo blinked out. It wasn’t the first time he had turned off the programme recently, and the way things were going it probably wouldn’t be the last – he just wasn’t in the head space for a deep and meaningful at the moment, especially one with criticisms that rang true. He didn’t need Dylan to tell him he had to act soon on Tyr, he already had Andromeda monitoring him, there was no point jumping the gun. In his own way Tyr was useful and Gaheris was willing to keep him around up until the moment of his betrayal, for which he would just have to watch and wait. What he had told the Dylan-holo was right, he intended to keep his friends close and his enemies under constant surveillance… and Tyr was most definitely top of that list. Even more so since the Witchead incident. Another example of Rhade doing what he had to do, something Tyr disliked – the man just didn’t understand the situation and Rhade wasn’t going to take the time to explain it to him. (more…)

Final Fantasy: The Silent Star Ch.5

“Prince Mordecai: I am so sorry it took so long to get chapter 4 up; I was in the hospital for 3 months undergoing several strings of emergency detox procedures. Actually, I’m back here, but at least now they let me use my laptop. They tell me that after all I’ve done to myself, it’s a miracle that I’m coherent enough to type.
